**About the role**

This position is situated within the Human Resources Unit which is responsible for the management of the employee practices of the organisation.

Reporting to the HR Manager - Payroll, the Payroll Officer plays a key role within the team ensuring the efficient and accurate running of the fortnightly payroll as well as administering and maintaining the payroll system. The software used by the team is Aurion for payroll, and HumanForce for time and attendance.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in commencing their career in Payroll. On the job training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity based in South Melbourne, VIC within our Human Resources Unit. The position reports to the HR Manager - Payroll.

Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Accurately prepare and process the fortnightly payroll working to strict timelines for permanent, fixed term and casual employees
- Provide support to other HR employees through effective participation as a team member.
- Maintain personnel filing systems ensuring confidentiality of all employee information.
