Dr Morse is excited to be working with a new FOH manager on assisting with running shifts, tightening procedures, maintaining & lifting service standards, maintaining a healthy staff culture, cashing up and setting the right example. More than a duty manager position, we want someone who can contribute to direction the of the business.

- Oversee the running of food service, ensuring our service standards are upheld and we are creating memorable dining experiences.
- Show up to work with a positive, professional and happy attitude.
- Back up the directives of the venue manager.
- Adhere to cash-up procedures and ensure venue closes are tight and thorough.
- Ensure the smooth operation of busy bars at peak times.
- Ensure functions are welcomed, nurtured and looked after.
- Ensure till procedures are upheld.
- Manage the atmosphere of a high energy venue (temperature, sound and lighting).
- Deal with people related issues -staff and punter alike.
- Direct security to maintaining a safe atmopshere.
- Operate within a culture of wellness and respect.

Dr Morse bar and eatery is a multifaceted & dynamic venue serving modern bistro style inspired food, craft beer, natural wines and seasonal cocktails with a strong disco music program in the heart of Abbotsford. Our food offering is to strike a chord of nostalgia within the realm of retro Australiana, it holds a sense of humour and is fun. This mirrors the experience/personality of Dr Morse and should encourage communal eating.

Located in the Johnston st precinct right under Victoria park train station Dr Morse has become an institution within Abbotsford and the surrounding area.
