Assistant Sales Manager

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Assistant Sales Manager to assist and support the Store Management team in the effective and efficient running of the daily operations of the business, including maximising sales and achieving a world-class standard of customer service excellence for all of Lotte Duty Free stores.

**THIS ROLE WILL SEE YOU**:

- Learn and understand the sales trends and forecasts maximising sales potential and ensuring team members are delivering the best possible service to our customers.
- Provide clear communication and consistent, constructive feedback on a daily/weekly basis to all team members.
- Be aware of everything that is happening in the stores being proactive and have a strong sense of urgency.
- Ensure each location is sufficiently staffed at all times to maximise our sales opportunities.
- Assist Sale Managers in authorising discounts in line with company policy and guidelines.
- Work with the team on maintaining the housekeeping standards, visual merchandising and stock level as per guidelines on a daily basis.
- Ensure all customer service and follow-up service requirements are handled to the customer’s satisfaction in a most urgent and timely manner.
- Assist in controlling and minimising stock losses. Adhere to a strict security practice to maintain adequate protection of stock, takings and all other company assets.
- Assist in enforcing all company standards, policies and procedures and ensure full and complete compliance by all team members.
- Assist in identifying, planning and scheduling training requirements for sales crews.
- Ensure timely and effective execution of products launches and promotions.
- Ensure all team members are aware emergency and health and safety procedures and that areas of maintenance are addressed with the Store Manager.
- Ensure all team members are presented in accordance with Lotte Duty Free grooming and presentation standards at all times.

**YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL BE**:

- Achievement of sales and GP$ targets on a daily and weekly basis.
- Motivate team members to exceed customer service excellence at all times Sales and GP - achievement of sales and GP targets on a weekly basis
- To assist the Sales Manager with coaching and developing the sales team to their fullest potential
- Clearance of slow moving stock and end of lines
- Know and understand the products across all categories identifying top and bottom lines (slow moving stocks)

**WHO ARE YOU?**

- Strong proven successful track record in retail operations
- Previous managerial position of a multimillion turnover store
- Business sense with good understanding of the business dynamics
- Experience of coaching / training people as well as a strong motivator
- Exceptional team leader who leads from the front
- Experience of giving exceptional customer service
- Strong knowledge / experience of retail operations
- Good knowledge / experience of international brands and diverse categories of products
- Strong communication skills
- Be flexible with regards to working hours
