**Duties**: Some of the duties you will be required to perform include
- The key objective of the role is to plan, design, implement, direct and oversee all Route 109 Distillery Quality Assurance process and systems relating to the production of craft alcohol.
- Plan and coordinate quality control systems across all products, permanent and temporary, to ensure appropriate production, storage and packaging.
- Enforce and maintain quality standards in the distillery from the receivership of raw materials through to the packaging of the final product.
- Interaction with management, and staff to achieve the desired quality levels
- Compile data from monitoring sheets and ensure all forms used for monitoring are completed and forwarded to the manager
- Participate in internal/external audits
- Monitor hygiene practices across the venue
- Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures
- Develop and improve existing standards and quality-based systems, and proactively develop solutions to issues affecting product quality and consistency.
- Manage sensory programs for distillery staff for continual training and feedback on the quality of Route 109 Distillery products.
- Manage systems to ensure that optimum manufacturing and storage temperatures are maintained.
- Train staff in quality control systems.
- Report to Management on the performance of Quality Management System and advise of required adjustments as needed.
- Interact with management and staff to achieve the desired quality levels.
- Compile data from monitoring sheets and ensure all forms used for monitoring are completed and forwarded to the manager.
- Prepare documentation and reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.

**Salary**: $63,348.00 per year
