**Our client is a leading provider of enterprise software solutions for the energy sector. With a focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability, our client's software solutions enable utilities, oil and gas companies, and renewable energy providers to optimize their operations, reduce costs, and minimize their environmental impact. Their solutions cover a wide range of areas, including energy trading and risk management, renewable energy integration, demand response management, and asset management.**
They are seeking a Sales and Account Manager to join their team to generate new business and manage existing accounts within the energy industry.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for the company's enterprise software solutions in the energy sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the energy industry, with a focus on utilities, oil and gas, and renewable energy companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and growth of the business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of customer projects and initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities and inform sales strategy.
- Develop proposals and negotiate contracts with customers to close deals.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales of enterprise software solutions within the energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of the energy industry, including utilities, oil and gas, and renewable energy.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
