We are currently recruiting for an Ecommerce Manager in our Marketing team on a full-time permanent basis. This role will be based in Brisbane (with flexible work from home options) and is a driver for growth in key channels for this diverse and progressive company.

SBG is a successful Australian owned, QLD based, family business with existing brands and products currently experiencing rapid growth within its existing markets and also the opportunity to expand into new markets.

SBG sources a range of products from protective medical and scientific workwear and accessories, to promotional branded apparel and stationery, to school supplies, fashion stationery and lifestyle accessories for kids, and key wholesale markets in higher education, health and big box retail.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We have an exciting and diverse role for an Ecommerce Manager to make a real impact on growing established B2B and B2C brands where online retail is a key part of what we do.

This is an essential role in the organisation to lead, develop, plan and execute the ecommerce marketing strategy and roll out current and new marketing initiatives for the organisation. This is an awesome opportunity for a strategic, big-picture marketer who wants to get their hands dirty and directly influence the outcome.

Current priorities in this role include:

- Oversee the ecommerce marketing strategy, including development of implementation plans to amplify our brand and achieve optimal return on effort and investment.
- Take responsibility for and develop all Source SBG and its affiliated ecommerce channels and manage their day-to-day operations.
- Identify and implement opportunities to drive sales and lead generation through online channels and achieve budgeted performance objectives.
- Deliver all marketing initiatives aligned with organisational goals, both financial and strategic.
- Manage the ongoing optimisation of our website and integrated systems to improve user experience, sales, conversion, average transaction value and loyalty.
- Recommend and implement technical, content and process improvements that contribute to seamless experiences for our customers.
- Undertake consistent monitoring, refining and innovation of the ecommerce channels to exceed best practice.
- Manage external teams of web developers, digital marketing agencies and other third-party providers, directing their efforts to ensure the marketing strategy is delivered effectively in line with organisational goals.
- Be the point of contact for all communications, marketing and social media requirements for the organisation.
- Provide analysis and insight generation, evaluation and reporting, using a range of tools to identify opportunities as well as measure effectiveness and success.

**RELEVANT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- An ecommerce specialist who can take the organisation through the next phases of business transformation.
- Ecommerce management experience in an online ecommerce organisation with exposure to digital marketing and building an ecommerce strategy - in either an agency or in-house environment.
- Strong foundation and up-to-date knowledge in ecommerce, relevant marketing tools, techniques and software, with an understanding of contemporary best practice, ideally in a retail/consumer product space.
- Experience in traditional and digital marketing, content marketing and social media marketing with particular strengths in an ecommerce product sales environment and delivering advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.
- A passion for online UX and delivering a service that customers love, return and recommend others to.
- A creative mind with excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with data management, product management, graphic design, content management and creation, creative writing, marketing automation, digital advertising management, search engine optimisation and marketing, analysis and reporting.
- Strategic problem solving and proactive identification of performance bottlenecks and troubleshooting.
- Keen organisational and communication skills.
- Methodical and driven approach to marketing with your own drive and initiative to execute and follow through.
- The ability to work autonomously within a team environment, and to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
- The ability to think fast on your feet in an ever-changing environment, executing on a diverse and challenging range of tasks
