Ecommerce Technical Lead

**The Opportunity**

We seek an adept technical lead to join our IT department and lead the frontend ecommerce technical stack centered on Shopify Plus. As a pivotal member of the CK software engineering team, you will oversee the creation, execution, and deployment of solutions on our frontend ecommerce platform, while also assisting in daily ecommerce operations support.

Your primary interactions will involve collaborating with the Digital Director, Ecommerce Manager, and Digital Marketing Manager to enhance our online customer experience through innovation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of designing and delivering key projects and initiatives from solution design to implementation, QA, deployment into production, and post-deployment monitoring, ensuring success measurement.
- Lead the implementation of highly resilient, fault-tolerant, and high-performing solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the Solution Architect and other technical leads to design seamless integrations across the backend system landscape.
- Work with Business Analysts and App Support Specialists to define user story scope and generate technical specifications as necessary.
- Manage the implementation of custom features and apps using Shopify Liquid and React.
- Promptly investigate and resolve technical issues and bugs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with support teams to address customer-reported technical problems.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on data analysis.
- Actively contribute to the ongoing refinement and maintenance of the technical knowledge base.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 6 years of software development experience, with at least 1 year in technical leadership roles like technical lead or team lead.
- Proven ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Profound understanding of the Shopify ecosystem.
- Expertise in building highly customized solutions using Shopify Liquid.
- Experience with React.
- Solid comprehension of Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics.
- Understanding of ecommerce business processes, customer journeys, and industry trends.
