**The Role**
Our Australian Design client is looking for a creative Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist to join their growing team in their beautiful Brisbane support office location.
Renowned for its feminine silhouettes, the brand effortlessly translates designer luxury into sophisticated yet effortless pieces, embodying their connection to the sun-soaked landscape of Australia. Our client is proudly owned, run and led by women and fosters a bold and empowered team culture.
This role will see you execute on the brand’s Ecommerce strategy to maintain and optimise the website through product mix management, visual merchandising, and utilising data analysis to deliver and enhance the user experience. This role reports to the Online Trade Manager, and in collaboration with the online team, you will support exciting ecommerce projects and business goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Execution of the online visual merchandising strategy
- Analyse and optimise the product discovery journey to ensure the customer shopping experience is exceptional.
- Responsible for ongoing maintenance and enhancement of onsite content (Such as navigation, search optimisation, category and product page updates).
- Execute online campaign and promotional activities
- Liaise with website development agencies to deliver new feature enhancements.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to brief and execute weekly website content updates, including homepage, category pages, blogs, and campaigns pages.
- Analyse and present key ecommerce metrics to make strategic merchandising decisions and increase online sales.
- Conduct customer and market research to capture insights and provide recommendations.
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in Ecommerce at a specialist, executive or manager level.
- Previous experience with shopify.
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Google analytics.
- Passionate about understanding consumer behaviour and improving customer experience
- Understanding of ecommerce principles, online sales strategies, and digital merchandising concepts.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate within a fast-pace team
- Flexibility to embrace evolving ecommerce trends and contribute positively to the team's goals, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
