As a Purchasing Officer you’ll need to have some exposure to engineered Equipment and/or Materials for Projects within the Engineering and Procurement Services.

**Responsibilities**:
**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Complete take offs of all materials required to complete the works
- Create RFQ’s and manage the engagement process for subcontractors to complete the works
- Review, monitor and report on purchase orders to ensure compliance
- Timely processing of purchase requisitions
- Source best pricing and availability
- Ensure material supply compliance

Qualifications:
**Skills & Experience**:

- Working experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing or supply chain
- 3+ years in a similar role
- Ideally you will have exposure to fast-paced project based industries such as mining, construction etc
- Sound knowledge in raising purchase orders using SAP (SAP experience is essential)
- Team participation, coordination and high level written communication skills
