Purchasing Officer - Transactional Purchasing using SAP

Procurement Officer - Based Perth City Centre

This resources company is looking for a Purchasing Officer to join their operation based in Perth.

This is a high-volume transactional role where you will be looking after one of their sites.

Your duties will include:

- Issue RFQ’s to both Australian and International suppliers.
- Liaise with the project team to define product and services scope and specifications for the RFQ’s
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers and service providers to obtain the lowest cost.
- Ensure compliance to budgets.
- Assist in the preparation of supply agreements
- Assist with the establishment of suppliers in Master data.
- Raise POs in SAP.

Key Attributes
- Able to work in a high-performance environment
- Work autonomously as required.
- Experience in the procurement of goods and services.
- Demonstrate financial management.
- Demonstrate high levels of initiative.

You should be able to start at relatively short notice - this role is expected to last a minimum of 6 months but may extend. The hourly rate is around $60 - $62ph + super.
