**The Role**:
We are looking for an Events Executive who is super organised, loves to engage with people, and finds the ultimate satisfaction in watching an event unfold seamlessly.

As the Events Executive, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination sales and execution of all events across the hotel in all outlets, building client relationships and working collaboratively with our sales and food & beverage teams.
- Some of the responsibilities include:_
- Efficient handling of all sales enquiries into the department and prompt issuing of quotes and contracts using our Envision software.
- Liaising with clients in the lead up to, during and following of their events.
- Assist with the follow up on sales leads and conducting site inspections of the hotel.
- Assist and prepare event orders for the various hotel departments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with processing event charges and invoices.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**:

- Previous experience in event sales, preferably within a 4-5* hotel or resort environment.
- Sound understanding of conferencing & events.
- A flair for creating and identifying business opportunities.
- A solid understanding of sales principals and techniques and strong negotiation skills.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with others.
- Strong numeric and literacy skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and an attentive service approach.
