Due to significant growth in market, the business is introducing an ambitious Events and Activations Manager to join the growing team. **THE ROLE** Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager and working closely with Marketing colleagues, this fast-paced role will be responsible for end-to-end management across a suite of events. This position is committed to delivering innovative and disruptive events that position our client as the number 1 brand of choice. Through working with relevant agencies and internal stakeholders, this position delivers excellence in all events ensuring these are in line with budget expectations, Brand Guidelines, and strategies. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and business units to build and define the strategic direction of the annual events calendar - Using the RACI methodology, define processes and plans to distinguish event types, roles and responsibilities. - Work with relevant stakeholders and business units to research and define the purpose, objectives and key outcomes for each event. - Build and manage comprehensive event project plans, calendars, and briefs, understanding the objectives and key performance metrics. - Working with key stakeholders and agencies to manage the ongoing activations of Head office - Management of event deadlines, timelines and schedules including the communication flow with all internal and external stakeholders. - Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure events are delivered seamlessly and to a premium brand standard. - Commitment to deeply understand the audience, to ensure event experiences are tailored and targeted. - Manage event budgets and provide accurate and timely reporting in pre-briefs/ de-briefs - Focus on the "audience" and Unique Value Proposition to deliver events that drive brand advocacy and market share acquisition. - Disrupt the market with innovative ideas that deliver impact and are in line with brand guidelines and strategies **SKILLS / EXPERTISE REQUIRED** - Tertiary qualifications in marketing or events planning (desirable) - 4+ years' experience in Activation Marketing Manager or Event Management - Excellent understanding and experience managing high volume of events - Strong commercial acumen - Ability to lead, directly or indirectly to achieve business objectives **CULTURE** You will be a commercially minded, outgoing, energetic and driven individual.
