**Job Description**:
A Client Services Officer, based in Perth Airport is required to ensure customer service in laboratory sampling and testing services by providing timely and efficient follow up and actions. Attend to day-to-day operations of the branch and manage the customers’ expectations.
Some specific responsibilities will be:
- Communicate directly with clients to resolve any sample receipt or logistics issues as required.
- Communicate effectively with the relevant section heads of impending samples for production
- Keep clients informed of all issues in the laboratory that relates to them and act as the link between the laboratory and the client to ensure best possible service to the client. Discuss result status and turnarounds with clients when required.
- Ensure all client requests are passed onto the relevant laboratory department e.g. bottle orders to sample administration
- Assist clients to manage subcontracted jobs.
- Check and send invoices.
- Organise couriers to collect samples from client sites.
- Prepare Quotations where required and assist with Invoicing.
- Reporting on client satisfaction to management.
- Assist management in process improvements
- Assist management in promoting a safe working environment and report immediately on any unsafe work condition or equipment to the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the section and to ensure the expected outputs are performed within budget.
**Qualifications**:
- Scientific qualifications (Diploma or Tertiary education)
- Experience in laboratory environments
- Experience using a LIMS
- New graduates are encouranged to apply
