ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our Client is an Australian online financial trading Company that specialises in foreign exchange
(forex) and contract for difference (CFD) trading, offering over 250 tradable instruments to retail clients. The Company is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and has support offices in the UK and Bulgaria.
Quickly becoming a leader in its field, our client has gone from strength to strength and experiencing rapid growth. Because of this, they are looking for a Head of Human Resources to join the team.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of HR will focus on driving and delivering key HR processes and procedures on a global scale. This role is perfect for a generalist looking to strengthen their experience in an growing, ideas driven business. You will have the opportunity to engage with, and support, colleagues and managers across several locations internationally, whilst also building relationships with the team around you in the Melbourne based headquarters.
This broad role will support the 200+ employees in the business across the full range of HR activities including employment relations, change management, HR documentation and administration, performance management, role and organisational design, talent management, recruitment and onboarding, engagement, culture, employee wellbeing and diversity & inclusion.

**This person will be responsible for**:

- Leading, supporting and managing the existing HR Administrator in the business and focusing on working as a team to strengthen all HR processes, policies and procedures.
- Evolving, implementing, and managing leading onboarding processes.
- Ensure accurate employee documentation and records are maintained globally. Where possible, review if HRIS can be implemented, improved or refreshed to ensure source of truth is maintained.
- Advising and partnering with business leaders to support them in managing their teams.
- Ensuring HR policies, procedures and other HR documents are up to date and reflect the businesses culture.
- Supporting leaders in managing performance and conduct issues, and facilitate grievance handling processes.
- Remain abreast of relevant industrial instruments including relevant Modern Awards, and ensure the business meets its obligations as an employer.
- Managing annual HR processes, such as job description reviews, performance review and remuneration review cycles.
- Support business leaders with organisation design and restructuring projects.
- Building strong and meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Importantly, you are confident in your experience but ultimately seeking an opportunity to step up into a leadership role. You are globally aware, naturally curious and motivated by creating effective processes that will add value to the business and it’s people. You enjoy partnering closely with stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority and will be seeking an opportunity that allows your to ideate, suggest improvements, seek out efficiencies, lead by example and think strategically alongside the businesses C-Suite team members.
- Min of 10 years of human resources experience in similar sized organisations. Financial Services industry experience is desirable but not required.
- Experience in partnering and advising leaders through a variety of people and culture matters.
- Proven ability and genuine drive to manage colleagues, employees and leaders through change and transformation.
- Ability to draft and prepare employee correspondence effectively and efficiently.
- Experience in supporting leaders in role design, recruitment and onboarding.
- Ability to work in and navigate HR systems (Bamboo HR currently used).
- Comfort in reporting, analysing data and working with numbers.
- Experience in ideating and implementing employee engagement and culture initiatives.
- Experience in advising businesses in core areas of Australian employment relations.
