The opportunity
12 month maximum term contract
Reporting to the Head of Applications & Integration, the Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist provides companywide analytical and technical support for business intelligence activities. The position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and improvements of the BI environment and aligning it with business requirements and priorities.
The key elements of this new role are the responsibility for leadership of the BI strategy and for maintaining the Regis BI Reporting and Analytics platform in line with business requirements and priorities.
The important role you’ll play
- Working with the IT Team to launch new reporting capabilities
- Critically evaluating and screening data, plus profiling to identify any issues
- Developing new data processes and reports
- Developing leading analytics for health, financial and other data
- Overseeing the data warehouse, including the collection and utilization of all data
- Extending knowledge of Business Intelligence to provide ongoing refinement of processes to improve operations
What you'll bring to the role
- High proficiency in Azure Dev Ops, SQL Coding, Data Modelling and Azure Data Factory (all mandatory)
- Experience in database administration and data warehousing
- Solid background in SQL development/support (SQL server, TSQL, SSIS)
- Basic MS SQL Server DB Administration
- Basic Windows Server Administration
- Ability to produce quality technical documentation (Requirements and Design Documents)
- Understanding of BI technology trends and issues, inclusive of Power BI and SSRS
- Experience with Release and Change Management Process Cycle
- Experience and interest in AI technology
- University degree in a related field
