**About the Role**

The Human Resources Coordinator will report to the CEO, and will focus on:

- Supporting the HR function with HR coordination and administration for employment related changes and queries including new employees, leave, remuneration, position changes, employment changes, and terminations.
- Provide advice and support on all areas of IR / Fair Work compliance in accordance with legislative, regulatory and internal policies / procedures.
- Work with payroll to ensure employment changes are integrated and processed to ensure successful (accurate and timely) payment to employees and related third parties.
- Provide support and information on HR queries to employees and managers.

**About you**

You will ideally bring the following attributes to the role:

- At least 2 - 4 years’ experience as a HR professional in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant discipline (not essential but preferred).
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Experience working and liaising with Union / Fair Work Tribunal.
- Sound knowledge of Federal and State IR / Fair Work and other employee relation legislation/regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, well organised and display initiative to improve practices.
- Be extremely proficient with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously and to approach activities with initiative.
- Experience drafting HR documentation.
- Ability to interpret HR policies, procedures, and other employment information.
- Demonstrated ability to work, interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build positive, professional relationships.
- Exceptionally well organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately to meet deadlines.
