**Your Role**
In this newly created position, the HR Coordinator will play a key contributing role in the Human Resources function of the ALA Group of Businesses.
Reporting directly to the General Manager (Shared Services), with the assistance of a contracted Senior HR/IR Consultant, you will be responsible for the facilitation of HR Administration, training and performance management and IR Compliance.
This role will see you advising and assisting the senior management with HR Strategy implementation while collaborating with high-performing recruitment consultants in championing our principal values.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Oversee end-to-end internal recruitment processes and manage the documentation of employment contracts, job descriptions, HR policies and metrics
Take ownership of employee engagement initiatives, development of Employer Value Propositions, and business communication programs
Manage performance management systems, disciplinary procedures, and regular review of compensation and benefits
Assist senior management with planning, curating and delivering Training & Development strategies across all business units
Collaborate with external consultants to ensure compliance with all IR requirements and interpret various industrial instruments
Develop & implement HR-related solutions to facilitate an agile, continuously improving and transparent organizational culture
**About You**
As our HR Coordinator, you are a persuasive, collaborative and practical individual with a keen interest in fostering organizational culture, implementing HR systems and developing HR policies.
To be successful in this role, you will also have
- Relevant qualifications in HR, Business Management, or Industrial Relations
2 - 4 years of experience in any of the above disciplines
Proven verbal and written communication
Established knowledge of HR, IR and ER matters
Previous exposure to L&D will be highly regarded
