**The Role**

The Commercial Sales Manager role is designed to oversee the delivery of all commercial matters; ranging from prospective new business overseeing the execution of asset management services and compliances to contracts. This role will be the liaison between the Customer and all other business units within the local operation. This role must aim to develop sales efforts and opportunity to focus on the differentiation of services and commercially viable value-add opportunity taking the lead in selling long term service agreements (LTSA) and related services.

The Commercial Manager role ensures responsibility for the following areas;
- Lead transactions from origination, structuring through to contract execution. This includes being able to successfully orchestrate a complex transaction, lead negotiations, and manage the transaction team and the document process for all products and services that the company provides in the market.
- Be the point of contact for managing commercial matters for existing contractual works. Serving as the critical link in the delivery and execution of contracted work ensuring that the business understands the satisfaction with solar assets that require ongoing operational and maintenance oversight.
- Monitoring and auditing of contractual compliance and ensuring the execution of works and presentations for both project stakeholder and Executive Management are well informed. This can include and is not limited to the education of obligations and responsibilities inherent in the O&M agreements.
- This position drives the understanding of project economics, identification of project risk and uncertainty, and articulating it for the benefit of local & global Management.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute the long-term strategic plan for increasing revenue and market opportunity.
- Develop and produce a strategic business plan for targeting key clients and opportunity. The plan should articulate both long-term strategic and short term opportunities for the region.
- Responsible for developing deep relationships with the Owners, Financiers, Developers, EPC & other related service providers to ensure the company is best positioned for long-term O&M opportunities.
- Contribution to Marketing & external communications.

- Customer Service
- Develop and maintain a high-standard of engagement and communication between customers and coordinate with the Operations team; Contracts Manager, Technical Operations; Plant Management, Field Teams, Performance Engineering, Legal and Marketing & Communications Departments
- Be Familiar with and knowledgeable about operating contracts (O&M Agreement, Power Purchase Agreement, Connection Agreement), operating protocols, transmission and scheduling entity operating handbooks, operating agreements, and any standards or regulations applicable to the generator operator / generator owner.
- Monitor progress of projects and service agreements to ensure pathways for exceeding customer opportunity & satisfaction are explored.
- Assist and coordinate all O&M contractual activities to ensure problem resolution
- Understand and communicate the company’s capabilities and strategy.

**Skills & Experience**
- Understand pricing trends and aspects which influence cost and price.
- Be current with competitor offerings and gather competitive intelligence
- Be current in all customer, industry, government affairs and regulatory policy/news
- Strong comprehension of commercial & legal offerings
- Assist corporate marketing and communications on the development of marketing collateral including press releases, articles and technical papers. Support press events, conference exhibit participation
