The People, Culture and Capability (PC&C) directorate within People Group is focused on delivering programs of work that support and enable a high-performing and engaged workforce across the department. We are a team of practitioners and experts who enable the Department’s workforce to reach its full potential through innovation, collaboration and empowerment.

These roles will each work with a specific business unit within PC&C:
The **Culture, Diversity and Talent unit**, focused on the design and delivery of key people processes, tools and resources to support a high performance and engaged workforce through delivering a mix of corporate only and all-DoE initiatives and processes.

The Learning business unit, provides strategic direction for learning strategy, governance, design, delivery and quality assurance of professional learning that uplifts capability of the workforce. The **Performance and Accreditation unit**, ensures high performance and continuous improvement through improved performance and development of school leaders, teachers and school-based non-teaching staff. The unit also assists teachers to maintain their active teacher accreditation.

**Your role**

As a Program & Operations Manager you will work closely with the Director to manage and coordinate a range of high level strategic and policy initiatives to enable programs of work to be delivered in a timely and coordinated manner. The role also prepares briefings and correspondence; advice on complex matters; and liaises and consults with other areas of the Department and a range of external stakeholders to seek and provide information and advice.

You will:

- Be a trusted partner to the People, Culture and Capability team on all things related to operational learning design and development
- Lead and support the achievement of priority strategic and operational objectives
- Provide expert and evidence
- based advice to Directors and other stakeholders
- Represent the Director to meetings and events as required
- Review briefings, reports and submissions in a timely manner
- Drive service excellence and implement evaluation processes to measure outcomes
- Foster collaboration and teamwork in a fun work environment

From understanding PC&C’s strategic plans through to the design and development of strategic operational processes, you will navigate multiple platforms and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. This is a role where adding value, building relationships and keeping abreast of current strategic policies is key to success.
