- Clerk Grade 11/12 Salary ($139,787 - $161,663) plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to lead our dedicated team in providing strategic program management and design services. This role is pivotal in overseeing and guiding large-scale strategic programs or a series of smaller programs that are crucial for the recovery of communities through the effective delivery of temporary housing solutions.

**About the role**

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Overseeing the coordination of program implementation to meet client service delivery needs.
- Managing contracting, tendering, and capital works programs, including budget estimates and performance reporting.
- Engaging with stakeholders to identify emerging issues and develop programs that align with service delivery needs.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulations, and guidelines in contracting and service procurement.
- Monitoring performance and reporting activities to ensure compliance and understanding of client outcomes.
- Providing expert advice and reports to senior leadership to address business impacts.
- Cultivating and managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships to facilitate effective program development and implementation.
- Leading team management, work planning, coaching, and professional development initiatives to align resources and priorities.

**About You**
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic program management, with a track record of successfully leading large-scale programs and managing complex projects.
- Proven experience in contracting, tendering, and capital works programs, including budget management and performance reporting.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to consult, negotiate, and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- A thorough understanding of internal policies, regulations, and guidelines related to contracting and service procurement.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to provide evidence-based advice to senior leadership.
- Case management skills, and the ability to handle complex and challenging conversations related to housing programs for disaster impacted communities.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Knowledge of impacted communities and ability to interface with complex cases would be highly desirable.

**About the Agency**

The NSW Reconstruction Authority (the Authority) is a statutory corporation within Planning & Environment. The Authority will improve how NSW plans for disasters and help communities to recover from them faster.
To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses, and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities, and other stakeholders.
