**Duration**: 6-month contract with high likelihood of extension

**Pay rate**: $1,100 - $1200 + super.

**Location**: Parramatta (Hybrid working arrangement)

**Key accountabilities**
- Develop and manage a range of strategic infrastructure projects to deliver initiatives to the Department and manage and oversee all aspects of project implementation, including preparing project plans, identifying, and coordinating resources, developing, and managing budgets, and negotiating reporting requirements.
- Procure contracts in accordance with NSW Government Procurement and tendering guidelines and coordinate the work performed by externally sourced providers (consultants and contractors) to ensure that services are provided in accordance with agreed quality standards, budget, and timeframes.
- Contribute to the professional development of project team members by providing leadership, management and coaching where relevant.
- Prepare a range of strategic and operational documents as required, including briefing papers, discussion papers, reports, submissions, and responses to information requests.
- Lead the development of project management methodologies and processes across the Department and lead the project team to complete tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
- You will have demonstrated experience in delivering workplace fitout style projects or related programs of work.
- You will be able to display knowledge and experience in procurement and tendering for construction projects.
- You are able to engage and lead people. Building trust and credibility whilst listening and understanding will be key to your success in this role.
- You will enjoy leading an outcome focused multi-disciplinary teams, working to achieve deliverables on time and to a high quality.
- You will be a natural coach and will have experience guiding others to ensure successful program delivery through a practical understanding and practice in project methodologies, processes and procedures.
- You will be experienced in driving project governance and working with very senior levels of management.
- Previous experience working in government is not essential.
- Experience delivery workplace transformation with construction experience/background.
