- Temporary opportunity for 12 months with the possibility of an extension (35 hours per week)
- Salary from $120,859 to $133,183 pa. + super and annual leave loading

**Your role**

This is an exciting opportunity to manage the operational service compliance and performance arrangements for vendor sourced services in the Information Technology arena within the Department of Communities and Justice.

**What you’ll do**

As the Vendor Operations Manager you will be responsible for;
- Acting as the single point of operational escalation for the vendor and internal DCJ clients
- Monitoring supplier performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Facilitating the prioritisation process for non-catalogue item requests (small to large project requests and minor enhancements) across a diverse client base
- Reviewing vendor proposals, briefs and statements of works to ensure any integration requirements and impacts are identified and projects are appropriately resourced and timed between external and internal stakeholders
- Developing compliance audit plans to assess vendor service compliance, including leading regular service reviews with service providers and communicating and validating service outcomes with clients
- Maintaining current and accurate service costing models to reflect the standards of service in order to manage the operational cost centre budgets, and resultant cost recovery. Identifying environmental, organisational and user behaviours that influence cost of services and implement strategies to optimise vendor costs.

**What we’re looking for**
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Commitment to providing quality customer service
- Experience in vendor/ supplier management
- Commitment to a culture of collaboration with other technical specialists to ensure appropriate advice to clients is given.
