**Your New Role**:
Reporting to the Mobility Operations Team Leader, the Trade Operations and Remarketing Officer, will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, technical maintenance authorisation, Company Fleet, accurate asset purchasing & vehicle disposal to both new and existing customer base.

The role will also be responsible for supporting the administration of the Vehicle Remarketing strategies and programs to ensure optimal and sustainable resale values are achieved during the sale of leased vehicles. Utilising available sales channels and processing sales and contract terminations within KPI. Supply monthly reporting to senior managers for review of Used Car and Fleet Department performance.

**Your responsibilities include the following but are not limited to**:

- Ensure all client vehicle order specifications and requirements are met in an efficient, timely and professional manner;
- Maintaining company fleet ordering and procurement process
- Manage the end to end purchasing process including sourcing of new vehicle pricing;
- Process vehicle details upon vehicle delivery
- Maintain internal customer and supplier database;
- Produce business reporting - both internal and external;
- Control the Vehicle Disposal function including; controlling the disposal method, negotiating reserve prices, pre-inspection service of leased vehicles prior to lease end, detailing and arranging the sale and collecting the proceeds, managing lease end charges applicable to returned vehicles, coordinating transport of vehicles, unsighted vehicle valuations for early return vehicles and accurately processing all related invoices for disposal vehicles.
- Manage returned vehicle stock and complete weekly stock report accounting for 100% of vehicles and reporting on the current sales status
- Be an active participant in system development and testing in both CMS and MILES
- Assist in the process of forecasting and reviewing the residual values of vehicles available for lease under VWFS finance products and in undertaking quarterly valuations on the risk portfolio.
- Strategically assess and continually improve - systems, processes, services and policies in support of the Fleet and wider organisational objectives.
- Ensure new processes are appropriately implemented and procedures updated in accordance with VWFS guidelines.
- Document and record and work processes in line with company work instruction templates

**In order to be successful in this role**:

- Proven operations and customer service ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills.
- Specific experience/knowledge of vehicle remarketing, automotive pricing strategies, residual value optimisation or an interest in the automotive industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels of the business.
- Strong background and work experience in Operations, Fleet sales support or remarketing.
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel, Word and Office Suite with an eagerness to learn new skills
- Previous experience in processing of various facets of Fleet Management Services e.g. Maintenance Management, Fuel Card, E-Tag, Registration Renewals etc.
- Experience in using MILES and CMS desirable
- 2+ year's experience in the wholesale/retail automotive or Fleet industry.
