**Description**:
Reporting to the State Sales Manager and working very closely with the National Pastry & Baking Category Manager you will represent and grow the pastry & baking category for Valrhona Selection portfolio (Valrhona, Republica Del Cacao, SOSA, Chocolatree, Norohy & Adamance). A key initial focus will be the quick growth of SOSA
**Key Responsibilities**:
Identify opportunities and generate leads and have weekly customer call plans in place with a pipeline of new business targets
Present product range to existing and prospective customers as well as support the Foodservice team to achieve growth targets
Ensure a strong level of pastry relationship and collaboration between different Valrhona chefs, clients, and sales force
Give qualitative answers to all the technical needs of the customers + visit customers on weekly base
Ensure strong visibility of new pastry brands and products
Provide solutions for our customers when they encounter difficulties using our products
Collaborate with teammates for the preparation and running of major events (product launches, demos, etc.)
Co-animate demos or interventions with teammates according to the opportunities and needs
Report, manage and communicate New Brands pastry sales budget status to the internal stakeholders
Using sales reports, provide recommendations for growth and additional business development opportunities
**Skills and Experiences**:

Qualified chef or pastry chef
Valid Australian drivers licence
Sales experience will be highly regarded and hospitality professional experience preferred
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook).
Excellent communication and influencing skills. In particular, the ability to advocate change and influence internal opinion.
Numerate with the ability to understand data and to interpret it in a lateral manner.
Ability to propose and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
Diplomacy and tact in order to gain support at all levels in the business coupled with confidence, intelligence and business acumen skills to influence abilities and outcomes.
An individual who is prepared to own a process and accept accountability for performance.
Decisive, with the ability to make sound decisions, based on experience and good judgement.
A pragmatic person, capable of interacting successfully at all levels of the organisation
