We are seeking an energetic, motivated and confident junior-mid level communications professional to join Think HQ's PR, Content and Events team as an Account Executive.
In this role, you'll support key members of the PR, Content and Events team to deliver a variety of communications projects across the business, with a particular focus on media relations, stakeholder engagement and event management activities.
You'll need an eye for detail, a strong work ethic, a curious mind, the ability to use your initiative, and a passion for inclusive communications.
If you’re a great writer with a genuine interest in news and current affairs, and an organised team player who wants to use your strategic communications skills to tackle complex social issues, then this role is for you
- Please note: Experience in the delivery of digital events is desirable._
**Responsibilities**:
As an Account Executive, you will be a key team member helping to deliver day to day project work and account management activities across a portfolio of clients.
**Some of the duties for this role include**:
- Implement pre-agreed activity on client projects to a high standard, reporting to relevant project manager/s
- Undertake thorough research to support client work and the development of new business proposals
- Provide event management support for a variety of event formats (digital, hybrid and in-person)
- Draft high-quality content for key PR formats (e.g. media releases, media alerts, eDMs, and social media)
- Assist with the distribution of eDMs and other stakeholder engagement activity
- Keep across key media industry changes and journalist appointments, relevant to client projects
- Liaise with suppliers, team members and clients as required
- Support relevant team members to manage client documentation, including the preparation of relevant WIP documents, final campaign materials, and evaluation reports
- Contribute to brainstorming and initial strategy discussions on client projects and new business proposals
- Maintain excellent internal communications and progress updates with team members.
**About you**
- You have undergraduate or post-graduate studies in public relations, communications, marketing or equivalent and/or one to three years’ relevant industry experience
- You are self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- You have a positive, helpful and proactive attitude to supporting team members with a variety of tasks
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong attention to detail
- You have good knowledge of print, online and broadcast media and PR processes, plus a genuine interest in news and current affairs
- You have experience supporting the delivery of digital / virtual and in-person events (planning and implementation - end to end).
- You are able to participate in team idea-generation and planning.
