**Quality and Risk Manager**

We are looking for a Quality and Risk Manager to join us at Greenslopes Private Hospital on a **Full-time **basis.

**About the Role**

You will have a close working relationship with clinical and non-clinical leaders in the hospital. The role provides operational management and leadership to all areas (clinical and non-clinical) for Quality, Risk, Clinical Safety, Infection control and supporting areas. To support and foster a culture that embraces quality and strives to continually improve patient and business outcomes in line with the relevant Accreditation Program and other regulatory frameworks, and acts as the duly appointed management representative for the Hospital Quality Management System. Support and mentor the quality and risk team with strong focus on patient and service outcomes.

**About You**
- Relevant qualifications in a Health discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an acute hospital setting
- Excellent understanding of clinical governance and risk management principles
- Experience in leading groups and projects, adopting new concepts and facilitating change
- Proven strategic planning, workforce management and policy development skills
- Knowledge and understanding of contemporary clinical risk management strategies that promote and ensure high quality patient care
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, schedules, set goals / objectives
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound computer skills using MS Office programs and web-based reporting systems

**Desirable**:

- Postgraduate qualifications in Management/Quality and Safety
- Previous experience in Accreditation
- Demonstrated financial management skills
- Change management experience in clinical and non-clinical areas
- Database knowledge (eg. Sharepoint)
