**Accountabilities include**: - Lead, develop and drive TMR's enterprise risk maturity and capability through contemporary risk management and reporting practices. Provide expert risk management advice to senior management, business areas and projects, including: - Best practice risk management methodologies and standards, e.g., ISO 31000- Strategic and business planning risk processes - Risk awareness and education programs
- Trend analysis and risk insights
- Opportunity management (upside risk)
- Monitor and report risk management activities to TMR's Executive Leadership Team and Audit and Risk Committee on departmental risk management processes to ensure that practices are operating effectively and efficiently, including: - Risk identification, analysis, evaluation, assessment, treatment, communication, consultation, monitoring and measuring processes
- Risk appetite and risk profiling - Status of new and emerging risk management issues
- Adherence to legislative obligations. Manage the administration, development and coordination of activities relating to the department's 3rd party Risk Management System (RMS). Prepare and/or review complex reports, briefing notes, submissions and collateral. - Work collaboratively with the SIPR leadership team to achieve unit outcomes and foster a thriving, positive workplace. Contribute to team leadership by supporting the Director in a range of business activities and priorities. This position reports to the Director (SIPR) and has two direct reports.Mandatory requirements: - Criminal history screening will be conducted on the recommended person for the role.TMR is currently considering the implementation of a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy whereby it would be a condition of employment for TMR employees to be and remain fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination status may be required as part ofthe interview process and/or prior to employment.
