The Resources and Industrial business unit delivers Civil, Environmental Remediation, Demolition and Asbestos Removal projects in regional locations throughout South Australia.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, Resources and Industrial, your primary responsibility is to support the business unit with all administrative tasks.

We are looking for a team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude, exceptional time management skills and experience working in a geographically dispersed team.

The role has some autonomy, and you will plan your week to deliver efficient administrative service to the team. In-house training will be provided to support you.

**About the role**:
This will include, but is not limited to:

- Processing progress claims, invoices and monthly payments for debtors, creditors and raising purchase orders
- Entering project budgets, variations and assisting with monthly financial forecasting and reports
- Assisting with human resource activities, including recruitment, training, onboarding/offboarding employees and processing weekly employee timesheets
- Drafting internal communications for the service line as directed
- Coordinating reports for key stakeholders and internal meetings
- Administering subcontractor and supplier agreements for Project Managers
- Creating and providing direction on using project files during tender and delivery phases
- Assisting with tender submissions
- Managing travel and accommodation bookings as and when needed
- Assisting with event management and planning

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience handling confidential information
- Proven experience managing project financials, debtors and creditors
- Ability to maintain site databases
- Ability to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner
- Previous experience in the building, mining or construction services sector is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with team members
