The City seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Access and Inclusion Facilitator to provide systemic advocacy, advice, and practical guidance across the organisation in areas of equity, rights, access and equal opportunities for participation for people with disability.

Reporting to the Community Development Coordinator
- People, the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing implementation of the City’s Access and Inclusion Plan (AIP), whilst contributing to community well-being by building on local community assets and strengths, enhancing links and supporting activities across the City with a specialised focus on facilitating a wide range of community development and engagement activities and projects.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Tertiary qualification in Community Development, Social Science or equivalent, extensive relevant experience will also be considered
- Current Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Demonstrated experience in reporting and leading the implementation of an Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) or similar framework across all service areas of an organisation
- Demonstrated ability to integrate social justice, advocacy, disability access and inclusion to asset based community development practices and initiatives
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with diverse community groups and relationship building within a community setting, including the facilitation and coordination of projects andpartnerships Well-developed analytical, critical and creative thinking skills and the ability to translate good thoughts into good practice
