Casual Group Fitness Instructor

SYNOPSIS:
City of Melville is looking for enthusiastic and qualified **Aqua Group Fitness Instructors** to lead engaging, high-energy water-based fitness classes. **Hourly Rate**: $70.53 + 11.5% super

**Location**: City of Melville - LeisureFit Centres

**Employment Type**:Casual

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Work collaboratively with our team to design and deliver engaging Aqua Group Fitness and Wellness programs and schedules
- Encourage and support safe participation in all LeisureFit activities and facilities
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support group fitness initiatives
- Maintain a safe workout environment by monitoring safety standards and equipment upkeep
- Provide immediate first aid and CPR response when required
- Foster a strong Work, Safety, and Health (WSH) culture across the organization
- Demonstrate and uphold organizational values while contributing to cross-functional team success
- Adhere to all relevant environmental legislation, regulations, and standards
- Support the implementation of Quality Assurance principles and identify opportunities for improvement
- Participate in Continuous Improvement and Audit teams as needed
- Undertake additional duties as required within the scope of the role

**What You’ll Need To Be Considered**
- Current Applied First Aid Certificate
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
- Certificate III in Fitness, GEL (Group Exercise Leader) or equivalent
- Recognised Group Fitness Program Qualifications or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities
- Solid organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
