We are currently looking for an IDS Business Relationship Partner. This role is the main point of contact between IDS and the business. The role is responsible for understanding the business strategy, analyzing business processes, identifying demand, defining business cases, eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.

The role partners with other domains in IDS, Digital and external suppliers in the delivery of solutions. Acts as a liaison and business process expert to IDS domains to assure successful solution implementations.

**Job description**:

- Influences and partners with business to understand business strategy. Interacts on a regular basis with business leadership to ensure needs are understood and IDS strategy and updates are communicated on a consistent basis.
- Possesses an excellent understanding of the business processes, strategy, and global perspective.
- Identifies IDS capabilities required to support the business processes and collaborates in the development of information management strategies, developing them as an integrated part of the business strategy.
- Act as IDS demand
- gathers initial requirements, maps objectives, develops business cases and works with business and IDS on viability and progression
- Maintains portfolio of prioritized IDS projects / initiatives for a given business unit or function and provides prioritization of such initiatives based on value creation and overall business strategy
- Identifies industry trends and makes recommendations on how to enhance the existing business processes.
- Facilitates in performing business process mapping, in order to develop technology requirements.
- Partners with IDS domains to ensure user and functional requirements are understood.
- Steering committee level participation for oversight of projects delivered to GBUs/Functions.
- Represents the business to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and per defined requirements, in-line with service levels.Value measurement / ROI reporting for the projects delivered, in accordance with the business caseEscalates issues to IDSLT, as needed.
- Establishes and maintains productive relationships across all levels within the IDS organization and external suppliers, as applicable.

**Knowledge and skills**:

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management Science, Business Analytics or related fields
- Recognized IT/BRM/Project’s qualification desired - ITIL, BRM Institute, PMI, or other accredited certification
- 5 to 7 years years combined experience in Business Planning or Analysis, Operations, Information Technology and/or Project Management
- Excellent understanding of business systems, processes, and IT systems
- Must have worked effectively with all levels of management up to and including GBU Directors and VPs
- Excellent leadership skills to lead / manage matrix teams in multiple geographies
