**THE ROLE**
As the Volunteer Experience Coordinator you will work with the People and Culture team to implement best practice volunteer management across Whitelion Youth programs, helping to embed a strong volunteer priority in everything we do. You will ensure our established processes, policies and systems are working effectively and efficiently, looking to ensure a positive experience for both our volunteers and our Program Coordinators who are leading volunteers.
You will actively support our Volunteer Community Of Practice group and coordinate volunteer improvement projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our relationships externally are established and maintained. This includes supporting Whitelion Youth staff to strategically connect and communicate with networks, local peak bodies, councils and private sector stakeholders.
**ABOUT YOU**
You are passionate about providing positive volunteer experiences to community members and have demonstrated experience developing and implementing best practice approaches to policies, processes and practices. You are also tech savvy and understand the important relationship between technology, organisation efficiency and stakeholder experience. You are curious by nature and enjoy a continuous learning, testing and iterating environment.
You will have sound experience in the following areas:
- Stakeholder engagement, both internal and external.
- Working with client groups to embed new and established Volunteer processes, using a range of digital solutions and frameworks.
- Coordinating and contributing to volunteer projects that improve the volunteer experience.
- Working with and supporting a team of People and Culture volunteers to deliver projects, programs or functions.
**Qualifications**
- Relevant qualifications in HRM or a Human Services discipline would be highly regarded.
- Current Working with Children card and Criminal History Check
- Relevant qualifications would be highly regarded.
