**About Our Client**:
With a strong vision for excellence and professionalism, you will be working for a Local Government organisation with a workforce committed to accountability, integrity, and respect.
- Facilitate the development and review of Council policies to support the City's strategic direction and to comply with legislative requirements.* Provide research, and report, and policy preparation assistance, in relation to the various requirements of the Local Government Act or other relevant Acts and other governance requirements.* Support general Council Governance responsibilities for the Council Governance Team and undertake governance-related projects as directed.* Identify and develop internal processes to improve the efficiency of governance policy-related administrative processes, within the capability of the role.* Support Council Governance Policy, Procedure, and general document management responsibilities for the Council Governance and Policy Team to support and ensure business continuity.* Provide effective administrative support to the Council Governance and Policy Coordinator and Alliance Manager including internal and external customer service, purchasing, website and intranet updates, corporate reporting, and other support as directed.
- Implement and monitor quality control systems for all administration procedures to support the Council's decision-making processes.

- Strong organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads to meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- High-level interpersonal skills including the ability to build rapport with various levels of internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A proactive disposition and a keen willingness to learn.
- Current National Police Clearance (within the preceding 3 months).
