Our team in the Office of the Regional Executive Director are required to provide high level responses, advice, support and co-ordination to the Regional Executive Director, Regional Directors, Managers and Senior Officers across and outside of the South West Region.
Our team specialise across a variety of tasks, some of which include: business operations; statistical analysis; human resource; budget and financial management; and executive services (including ministerials, complaints, briefs etc).
**The Executive Assistant Key Responsibilities are**:
- Provide high quality confidential administrative support to a Regional Director or the Regional Executive Director, and provide support to other members of the region.
- Maintain the Regional Director or Regional Executive Director's diary, including the organisation of meetings, minute taking, appointments, petty cash, taxi vouchers, accommodation and travel arrangements.
- Intercept and screen telephone calls, with the redirection of enquiries to appropriate areas as necessary.
- Liaise with senior officers and staff such as: Managers, Directors, Regional Directors, Regional Executive Directors, Director-General and Minister.
- Track, analyse, interpret and allocate (under guidance of the Advisor, Regional Director and/or Regional Executive Director) all incoming correspondence.
- Liaise with departmental officers and other government and non-government organisations as necessary.
- Undertake financial, human resource and administrative duties as required.
- Develop and maintain effective administrative systems, recordkeeping and business reporting.
- A statement not more than one page, that summarises your skills, experience and achievements.
- A current resume containing details of 2 referees. At least one referee should have a thorough knowledge of your work over the past two years as your manager or supervisor.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
