The purpose of the **Manager, Sales Strategy & Commercial Initiatives** position, is to develop and lead SC Johnson AU enterprise in the cross-functional development of winning Customer narratives driving SC Johnson/Category growth.
You will report to the Australian Sales Director; lead, mentor and develop one direct report and support the New Zealand team as required.
This position will develop and lead the following key components:
- Pricing/Promotion Strategy
- Smart Pricing/CPI Management
- Trade Spend Optimisation
- Sales Process
- Lead Strategic Initiatives

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)**:
- Lead Promotional/Pricing strategy by Channel
- Ownership of Annual Smart Pricing/CPI Strategy
- Key partner for SCQuaRE process for Range Reviews
- Regular collaboration with cross-functional peers (Marketing, Category, Customer Marketing, Finance) to align on strategic recommendations
- Sales lead on broader Strategic Commercial Initiatives that will be identified and allocated by Sales Director
**Required Skills and Experience**:
- 5+ years at Manager level in Customer Account Management or Category Management experience with Trade Spend accountability
- University degree in Business/Finance or similar
- Strong commercial and financial acumen in similar role, with proven ability to analyse and derive actions accordingly (Excel skills a must)
- Proven experience managing cross functional partnerships and direct reports
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, exuding high energy
- High level of detail
