Join us as a Marketing Specialist, where you will support the business growth and development of the Motion and Robotics Business Areas. Your responsibilities will include creating compelling content to raise the profile of these business area offerings for targeted segments. You will be required to drive and implement marketing activities for core business industries such as water, food and beverage, transportation, and commercial buildings, in line with the marketing plan. You'll have an exciting opportunity to plan and execute events and exhibitions to increase brand and product exposure to support our business. Reporting to Marketing and Public Relations Manager and this position is based in Notting Hill, Victoria.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Proposing and implementing marketing activities including social media marketing, project win article writing, and employee communications.
- Generating leads via advertising, sponsorship, events, and other promotional activities, using ABB web tools and Salesforce CRM as a hub for integrated marketing communications
- Developing creative concepts related to all communication vehicles including digital graphics, sales flyers, and social media graphics
- Organizing events and exhibitions to increase corporate image and to support business, including undertaking training to utilise any new online business platforms for hosting virtual events
- Writing articles for content such as case studies to support exposure of corporate business area news, sales project wins, and product launches
- Fostering positive working relationships with multiple stakeholders and a variety of functions (technical and commercial) across the business

**Your background**:

- Degree or certificate in marketing, marketing communications, or event management and marketing (recognized in Australia) and 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent creative writing and copy writing skills for marketing campaigns and corporate communications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized, whilst continuing to pay fine attention to detail
- Experience understanding a brief and consequently developing strong event campaign content and all necessary components that lead to successful execution
- A people-person, with the ability to build rapport with those from a variety of industries and backgrounds, including senior management
- Digital and social media content creation experience and comprehensive experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and experience in working with Content Management Systems (CMS), particularly Salesforce CRM, a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English essential
