About Us

Join the forefront of the IoT revolution with Speedshield Technologies, an Australian trailblazer dedicated to developing the most advanced industrial safety, control, and management systems in the market today. Since our inception in 1996, we've been providing IoT solutions that help organisations with industrial fleets create safer, more productive, and more compliant workplaces.

As we continue to scale, we're looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to source suppliers, manage purchasing, and optimise our global supply chain. This is a pivotal role blending supplier negotiation, contract management, and supply chain optimisation, offering both autonomy and impact in a growing technology organisation.

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

  • Supplier Management & Negotiation: Source, assess, and manage suppliers locally and globally, ensuring quality, cost, and compliance targets are met.
  • Purchasing & Logistics: Raise purchase orders for electronics, tooling, rework, returns, and services, while tracking lead times and delivery performance.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate vendor and cost data in MRP/ERP systems, monitor stock, and support production and warehouse teams to achieve DIFOT targets.
  • Contract & Risk Management: Negotiate supplier agreements, oversee renewals, manage claims, and identify risks across the supply chain.
  • Quality & Process Support: Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure suppliers meet APQP processes and support new product launches.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience & Qualifications: Proven procurement experience in a similar role and ideally a qualification in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong knowledge of purchasing, supply chain, and logistics processes, with confidence using technology tools.
  • Negotiation & Communication: Skilled in supplier negotiations, contract management, and able to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Analytical & Organised: Comfortable interpreting data, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.
  • Proactive & Collaborative: A self-starter who spots risks early, finds practical solutions, and works well with cross-functional teams.

This is a full-time, office-based role located in Notting Hill, VIC, with optional flexible working arrangements available by agreement.
