In this role, you will take the lead in managing the strategic relationship and contract delivery for Viva Energy for a Key Strategic Customer within the Mining portfolio. You will be key in developing, articulating and implementing a clear account strategy incorporating sales, operational, technical and marketing initiatives to drive a mutually beneficial outcome for all parties. You will proactively build relationships at multiple levels within a complex organisation, developing deep internal and external working relationships. You will ensure Viva Energy exceeds the expectations of our customer, spending time face to face, to problem solve and to provide innovative solutions delivering value to both organisations. This role will have full accountability for contract delivery and compliance, delivering process improvement and cost savings to the customer. This role will require some travel.
**About you**
You are a strategic and proactive thinker who enjoys building relationships, understanding customer needs and providing opportunities to add value. Perceptive in your approach, you can manage multiple projects, effectively problem solve and align with business priorities. You will have the ability to understand and influence multiple decision makers and a myriad of stakeholders at a corporate level and have a hunger for strategic account management and a passion for delivering and exceeding customer expectations. You will pride yourself on your success in managing commercial negotiations and engaging multiple stakeholders to drive outcomes. You will have experience in B2B account management / sales environment.
**Qualifications** You will be**:
- A strategic thinker, proactive in nature you enjoy seeking opportunities to provide value add to commercial deals
- Proficient in project management and able to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Effectively problem solve and align with business priorities
- Ability to understand and improve efficiency in end to end supply chain
- Ability to work effectively across multiple functions including commercial, technical operational and marketing to deliver key strategic outcomes.
- Able to understand and influence multiple decision makers and a myriad of stakeholders at a corporate level
- Customer focussed, you have a hunger for sales and a passion for delivering and exceeding customer expectations
- You will be eager to build your capability in managing commercial negotiations and supporting tender responses
- You will have experience in strategic B2B account management / sales environment
- Have refined financial acumen and clear understanding of the drivers of value creation
