Social Media Coordinator

The Opportunity
This position will co-create the social media strategy & implement the company’s Social Media marketing initiatives for Optimum Nutrition & LevlUp across Australia and New Zealand, implementing the Company’s social strategy and creating relevant and inspiring content across all platforms.

**In this role you will**:
Liaise with the Digital Marketing Manager and digital agencies in the development of the Social Media Strategy within the context of the overriding Business and Marketing Strategy.
Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
Create and update (monthly) a social media planning calendar for both paid & organic activity, covering all branded social channels, showing how the social activity supports all key marketing initiatives including advertising (print, digital etc.), new product launches, sponsorships, loyalty building programs, events, and retailer marketing programs in our branded social channels.
Liaise with Digital Marketing Manager on paid strategy across social channels to ensure activity is in line with wider brand plans.
Develop further the Social Media platforms for brands (beyond Facebook & Instagram, TikTok)
Work closely with the Brand Management team to drive campaign development, including social creative development
Drive community management and implement consistent tone of voice across social media channels.

The Skills you will bring to the team
University Degree in Marketing/Advertising/Comms
Knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing, demonstrating creativity and documented immersion in Social Media.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Google+Local, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
Working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social”.
Passion for fitness and nutrition essential & an understanding of the dedicated sports lifestyle and a strong passion for building nutritional products that support this sector
