Marketing Specialist for Oceania

Your Opportunity:
In this role, the Marketing Specialist for Oceania will work closely with sales and marketing team to effectively position EBSCO in the territory through multiple channels. The Marketing Specialist will create a consistent marketing approach, support the needs of sales, and support conferences for the territory.
The Marketing Specialist will work across multiple areas of the business to help drive sales by assisting in the development of compelling product positioning, creative messaging, and innovative marketing strategies.
What You'll Do:
- Create fiscal year marketing plan and quarterly tactical plans aligned with all Oceania territories that drive lead generation, product adoption and renewals, and influence purchasing decisions of EBSCO products..
- Assist in development of messaging and product positioning based on understanding the needs of the Oceania market.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of marketing programs with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with social media team to develop an effective social media strategy and drive social engagement.
- Liaise with sales to determine key market influencers for content distribution.
- Oversee and organise participation at conference, including workshops, meetups and panel discussions.
- Manage and execute webinars in coordination with external and internal stakeholders.
- Secure speaking opportunities at conferences, on panels and other sales driven events.
- Analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to adjust and improve approaches.
- Maintain, update, and continuously enhance the EBSCO Oceania website.
- Translation of marketing material as needed.
About You:
Bachelor's degree or degree in marketing, business, communications major.
- Previous experience in the similar position.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft office and graphic design programs (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
- Proactive, positive, and can-do attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities - team player.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- A creative mind.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a part of the team.
- Reside in Melbourne
