Melbourne, Australia carsales Full time

Company Description
**Are you ready to be a big part of something big?**

At carsales, we're all about making buying and selling a great experience. For 25 years we’ve been evolving with the new economy to help people choose how they move today and tomorrow.

When it comes to your career, we want to provide big opportunities to help you make a big impact. But for this to be possible, we strive to feel small. Small enough to quickly change tack, small enough to learn from different departments and small enough to connect authentically with leadership.

Not something you’d expect from one of the country’s biggest tech companies, is it?

And one of the best parts? We give you the autonomy to choose the working location that best suits your lifestyle - Office, Hybrid or Anywhere.

This is your opportunity to join carsales as the Social Media Coordinator to own and drive carsales social media and community engagement efforts. You will be responsible for developing growth and engagement strategies whilst managing the carsales network’s day-to-day social channels.

**Marketing, Content and Customer** come together to create the stories and campaigns that inspire and educate as well as provide strategic, innovative and cost-effective solutions for our customers. They’re a nimble and collaborative team that offers the full suite of services that you’d find in a digital design agency.

What’s on offer:

- A place where you can move your career forward, where you’ll be continuously backed to make new ideas happen, and the chance to do work that makes real, significant impact in the world.
- We’re a certified Great Place to Work, Family Friendly Workplace and WGEA Employer of Choice.
- The support of a highly engaged, high-performing team including a leadership team you’ll actually have face time with.
- 18 weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers, four weeks paid secondary caregivers leave, six weeks paid gender transition leave.

**Job Description**:
**What you’ll do**:

- Plan, create and schedule content across all social channels (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) for the carsales, boatsales, caravancampingsales, bikesales and trucksales brands.
- Write creative copy in the carsales tone of voice for all social captions.
- Manage the social roll-out of campaigns such as carsales Car of the Year.
- Collaborate with the Editorial and Content, Voice of Customer and Marketing teams daily to ensure all social and community activity is aligned.
- Community management and real-time monitoring of social channels, engaging and responding to new and existing conversations.
- Work with journalists to create Instagram content and Reels.
- Occasional attendance on car shoots to create Instagram content and Reels.
- Working with influencers to create bespoke content for the carsales Instagram page.

**Qualifications**:
**What are we looking for?**
- Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously).
- Experience managing multiple social media channels concurrently (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube).
- Demonstrated copywriting skills with a focus on short form for social media platforms.
- A portfolio of creative social media posts demonstrating experience.
- Community Management experience including replying and engaging with customers.
- Experience using social media management tools (eg. Hootsuite) for scheduling, listening, analysis and community management.
- Ability to understand and leverage data to drive social media recommendations.
