Team Leader - Claims Support - Full Time

We are currently looking for a Team Leader - Claims Support to join Sedgwick's Professional Services Division in either Adelaide/ Perth. This is a newly created role, leading and developing a team of claim support colleagues.

Primary Purpose of the role

In the role you’ll ensure team members are supported and enabled to perform their roles to the performance standards agreed. You will do this by provide coaching and development to ensure the team is focused on customer outcomes
- Ensure that colleagues understand the criticality of outcome focussed customer experience and provide coaching consistent with outcomes and not outputs.
- Timely response to escalations from stakeholders within the business
- Lead and develop direct reports to enable them to deliver to outcomes for client, customer, and the business
- Provide coaching and development to colleagues through reviewing and auditing work, listening to phone calls and engaging with colleagues through one on ones to enable optimum performance
- Maintain engagement with clients to remain open and aware of clients’ requirements and expectations in the delivery of their claims
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of team including resourcing, productivity, utilisation, breaks etc.
- Leadership Experience
- Strong understanding and experience in Case Management
- Certificate (5 Modules) in the Diploma of Loss Adjusting (Preferable)
- 3 years in the Insurance Claims or Construction Industries (Preferable)
- Strong Communication and report writing skills
