We are currently seeking an experienced Team Leader/Manager to join this leading Bakery as the Production Team Leader.

As the Production Team Leader, you will lead a team in a fun, busy and supportive environment. We are looking for someone who thrives on responsibility, is able to work in a high-volume environment, has natural enthusiasm a passion for their people, and overall team success.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, your key roles and responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring the production team achieves the company’s high standards of product quality
- Delegation of tasks to ensure all operational standards are met
- Meeting all company KPIs including: wastage, labour, ingredient costs
- Ensuring workplace remains a safe, nurturing and fun place to work
- Passing knowledge to staff by way of training, discussion and leading by example
- Rostering bakers effectively

Other key requirements include:

- Strong food production management background
- Effective leadership skills
- Encourage “out of the box thinking”
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude to problem solving
- Career orientated and driven to succeed
