Our client is a niche process engineering consultancy providing practical project, process, and mechanical engineering solutions in the mining, resources and renewable sector. Priding themselves on how they solve problems, our client consults with leading resources companies and is also involved in research and development, pilot plants, and the renewable sector. They are seeking an exceptional and well rounded technical Mechanical Engineer to lead their Adelaide Mechanical Team.

Because this organisation is a process driven consultancy it is essential that their Mechanical Team Leader is passionate about more than just mechanical design. With front end and early client engagement the suitable engineer will have worked closely with process engineers and be confident in providing practical solutions to enhance a clients operation. Working from concept, through detail design and following through to commissioning this unique opportunity requires a thorough understanding of plant process requirements, and the practical implications of designs. Confident with P&ID’s and working collaboratively in a multi-disciplined engineering design team you will be looking for a broad, varied and technically challenging hands on design leadership role.

Working with major resources operators across mining, oil & gas and industry you may also be involved in technical plants involving: solvent extraction, crystallisation and complex metallurgical principles.

This is a hands on technical leadership role suiting an engineer who is passionate about technical design challenges and adding value. Potentially still being up to 85% billable this represents an opportunity to earn an excellent remuneration whilst still being an engineer. Working with like minded practical and driven professionals you will be inspired to mentor and develop your team whilst providing outstanding and innovative design solutions which enhance the clients process operation.
