We also provide Allied Healthcare via telehealth to NDIS Participants including Counselling, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology and Mental Health Social Work.
**About the role**
We are seeking an organised and self-motivated Payroll and Accounts Officer to join our team.
In this role you will see yourself taking ownership of the payroll function, where you will exercise your full function knowledge and skills and to support the Finance team on a variety of accounting tasks. This will be a great position for someone who has Payroll experience and would like exposure to various bookkeeping and accounting functions.
This full-time role reports to the Accounts Manager and will be based in the office in Dingley.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Processing the fortnightly payroll for 180 employees.
- Processing 120 Contractors invoices Monthly/Weekly
- Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions
- Calculation of staff leave entitlements, including long service leave, as required.
- Demonstrate payroll processing skills
- Demonstrate strong payroll system knowledge
- Liaise with various internal or external stakeholders
- Adhere to all payroll related queries
- Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
- Provide administrative assistance to accounts receivable and payable
- Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information
- Update and maintain payroll procedures
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Process all remuneration changes specific to allocated payroll cycle as advised
- Liaise with Human Resources to maintain accurate and up to date employee information
**About You**
- Experience processing full function payroll
- Attention to detail and maintain accuracy and integrity of payroll system data
- Intermediate Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
- An ability to process high volume transactions with accuracy
- Ability to understand and learn new systems and processes
- Work autonomous and through collaboration and teamwork, be able to successfully navigate and manage change
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and support others with your knowledge
- Self-motivated and organised
