**Activities Officer - Brisbane Immigration Detention Centre**

As an Activities Officer, you’ll make a positive impact by:

- Managing and delivering structured and unstructured activities, including educational, sporting, and leisure programs
- Ensuring activities are meaningful, inclusive, and cater to the diverse needs of detainees
- Collaborating with detainees to develop innovative programs that support their wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate records of all activities and reporting outcomes
- Providing access to recreational resources, library services, and computer facilities

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- At least two years’ experience managing structured programs or activities for adults or families
- Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to promoting the wellbeing of people in detention
