As the Lead Generation Executive in the Sustainable Business Energy Solutions (SBES) Team, you will be responsible for generating new leads and opportunities for the sale of energy solutions products (such as Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging) and services to commercial and industrial customers which reduce costs and help our customers to achieve their sustainability targets. You will work closely with members of the Energy Solutions Sales Team to research, identify and engage potential new customers in target market segments to meet business objectives.

This role can be part-time or full-time and based in either Sydney/Melbourne.

What you’ll be doing:
- Developing a detailed understanding of AGL’s value proposition and conducting market research to identify and generate new leads and opportunities.- Generating new leads and opportunities via direct outbound customer engagement and qualifying inbound sales leads and opportunities to validate customer contact information and requirements.- Engaging internal stakeholders to ensure successful handover of leads and opportunities to sales representatives.- Effectively tracking and communicating with management on the status of sales opportunities leveraging CRM tools in accordance with reporting requirements.- Adopting a continuous improvement mindset and working with peers across the sales team to challenge and support sales initiatives and keeping up with industry developments and identifying new opportunities and threats which may arise over time.

What you’ll bring:- Detailed energy market knowledge, including a basic understanding of key drivers in the sustainable energy solutions market.- Effective planning, time management and prioritisation skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.- Self-motivated, achievement orientated, well disciplined, task focused with a strong sense of timeliness and attention to detail.
