Job Description
Leadership

  • Lead a high-performing, engaged, and motivated team.

Financial Management

  • Take ownership of financial performance for the projects and operations portfolio.
  • Monitor financial performance, reviewing estimates versus actuals across projects.
  • Implement productivity-enhancing process improvements to improve operational metrics

Cost Control & Productivity

  • Drive costs down to remain competitive while maximizing operational efficiency.
  • Implement effective methods, standard processes, and engage relevant teams to optimize performance.
  • Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and materials while maintaining controlled inventory levels.

Estimate & Risk Reviews

  • Participate in review processes before quoting jobs or contracts to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
  • Ensure subcontracts are complete, documented, and aligned with technical and commercial requirements.
  • Participate in risk reviews to mitigate potential project and operational risks.

Performance Management

  • Conduct performance appraisals, coaching, training, and career development.
  • Oversee salary administration, rewards, and recognition programs for the team.

Team Building & Communication

  • Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented team culture.
  • Build strong relationships with operational leaders to ensure smooth handovers and optimized resource use.
  • Promote collaboration across teams to maximize project delivery outcomes.

Project Delivery & Growth

  • Drive project delivery to achieve operational and commercial targets.
  • Use all available levers to ensure projects continue to grow through a talented, motivated, and accountable team.

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and results-driven leader, capable of managing complex projects while motivating and developing a high-performing team. They will combine strong operational, financial, and strategic skills to deliver outstanding outcomes across multiple projects and regions.
It is key this individual has a background in complex infrastructure projects, with a knowledge of the wider MEP and building services market.

Qualifications and Experience:
