**What this opportunity involves**:
The opportunity exists for a Marketing Manager to join JLL - based at Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre. This role requires someone with strategic thinking who is results driven and passionate about connecting with the local community. It’s for a Marketing Manager that wants to show what they are made of, think creatively, demonstrate strategy and be truly connected to their customer needs and delivering for 80 retailers.
The Marketing Manager will successfully contribute to the growth of income and value of the client’s assets through the development, delivery and measurement of a strategic marketing plan ensuring effective sales and traffic driving initiatives and development of differentiated marketing platforms to secure growth and profitability.
**An overview of the role**:
- Prepare and implement the annual marketing budget in line with the centre business plan.
- Manage marketing budget worksheets.
- Process marketing invoices and purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Complete accurate reforecasting within the required timeframes.
- Manage the marketing budget to a year-end cash position of $0.
- Ensure annual marketing fund audit and communication to retailers meets legislative timelines.
- Prepare and present marketing content for Asset Reviews and other client presentations as required.
- Prepare sales forecasting as required including percentage rent.
- Produce media and advertising requirements in line with the marketing plan.
- Manage social media strategy and content for the Centre.
- Manage Public Relations and Creative agencies as required.
- Ensure client and JLL Brand guidelines are followed and implemented.
- Assist in development and execution of community engagement plan.
- Regularly contact and meet with key community stakeholders.
- Assist Senior Centre Manager to support critical retailers as required through marketing assistance.
- Actively support new retailers through marketing assistance in launch phase
- Conduct community and individual retailer meetings when relevant.
- Measure and analyse results achieved by retailers to assess effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Complete critical analysis of retailer’s monthly sales and report to the Centre Manager and Client.
- Ensure supplier, public relations, competitors and media database is maintained.
- Consistently maintain the centre brand and positioning relevant to the trade area and market research

- Tertiary degree in marketing, communications of related field
- Highly organised and able to demonstrate the adding value link between marketing activity and the performance of the client’s investment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence decision making with peers and the client.
- Highly motivated, sets targets for self, monitors and measures progress against own performance measures to achieve results with regular consultation with direct manager.
- A creative problem solver who activity searches out improvement opportunities.
- Collaborative with superiors, peers and clients
- A strong communicator able to challenge the status quo of marketing and take the asset in a new direction.
- Resilient and able to demonstrate composure in dealing with multiple stakeholders.
