Opportunity for Legal Secretary / Legal Executive Assistant to join the Sydney office of a global law firm, in a varied legal support position.
**The Firm**
This global law firm has 15 international offices and is a leading player in its specialist market.
The firm's Sydney office has a team of under 50 people, yet it is backed by the impressive infrastructure you would expect from a large international firm. This newly-created opportunity will therefore allow you the chance to join a close-knit team and still have the benefits and security of being employed by a global firm.
The team is welcoming, social and the work is fast-paced.
The firm's legal support professionals all work together well as a unit, and the Sydney team are based in a beautifully appointed office in the heart of the CBD.
And, at this global firm, all staff are eligible for discretionary bonuses - not just lawyers
**The Job**
You'll support a Partner who deals with a wide range of matters in Employment Law. Their team's matters include transactional and advisory work, as well as dispute resolution and litigation.
Your role will be to provide legal secretarial and admin support, helping the lawyers manage a diverse legal file-load as you prepare and edit legal documents, oversee busy diaries and inboxes and assist with billing.
You'll also act as EA to the Partner - who has a busy diary, travels regularly and is looking for an EA who can be the lynchpin that allows this approachable partner to team to stay one step ahead of their busy schedules.
This full-time permanent position is a chance to secure a varied role that incorporates legal secretarial and legal EA responsibilities whilst working in a supportive yet dynamic environment.
**About you**
To be suited to this opportunity:
- You will be an experienced legal support professional, offering at least three years experience as a Legal Secretary / Legal PA or Legal EA;
- Your experience will ideally have been gained within a commercially focused area of litigation;
Above all, you'll be a legal support professional who is excited by fast-paced work and wants to work in a professional environment where quality work is well-rewarded.
